I loved Nick Harkaway’s first book – The Gone-Away World. It got a rare 5/5, and I can’t believe it was 3 years ago I read it.

This is another hugely imaginative book, but different in both style and content from the first book. The style felt a little odd on the first couple of pages, but I don’t know why. Maybe it was just my expectations based on The Gone-Away World. After a few chapters it settled down and I was eager to read more.

I still am eager to read more, but I’ve run out of Nick Harkaway novels. Boo!
